Dogs On Beaches

The Eurobodalla council has measures to ensure dogs can be responsibly exercised on beaches.

Most areas are offered on a “timeshare” basis between individuals with dogs and others who would like to be on the beach without pets.

Unfortunately, there are some very popular swimming beaches where dogs are prohibited.

Please note that timeshare arrangements mean that access is available between 1 November to 30 April between 5 pm and 9 am, and from 1 May to 31 October, access is provided on a 24-hour basis.
